Councilmember Blumenfield, working with LAPD Cyber Crimes Division, launched a pilot program to enhance the public’s awareness and knowledge of cutting edge internet safety issues. Between 2018-2019 Councilmember Blumenfield hosted workshops at the West Valley Public Library covering internet password safety, identity theft protection, social media red flags, and the most up-to-date tips for folks of all ages to navigate the web safely.
